About

Welcome to accentuate the negative, a blog where I post food and film reviews, report daring journalism and provide commentary about topics which perk my interest. For those interested in hiring please click on the categories food and cinema filed under archives. If you are visiting as a friend, family member or curious web surfer than feel liberal to explore.

Most companies and even independent contractors have a mission statement, but as for me I am simply curious. And curiosity has enticed my appetite for journalism; birthing my dream to one day own an independent newspaper. Initially starting off humble, but eventually establishing a headquarters in Minnesota. However ambition may lead me to branch out nationwide to locations in New York, Chicago, California, Texas, Washington, Florida and Maine. While remaining heavily involved, I only plan on hiring honest reporters and columnists. Bribes and persuasion tactics will not affect my organizations ultimate goals; my presses will publish faithfully despite election campaigns, public images of certain individuals, investigative crime bureaus. Information may only be withheld to protect witness’s identities or individuals in the witness protection program. My motivation for founding such a morally devout publication partially draws from a fictional newspaper called the daily sentinel. The mere thought of globetrotting to cover essential press conferences, taking exclusive photographs and possibly putting my life on the line in the name of free media exhilarates every fiber of my body. Anyone and everyone associated with media have taken an oath to deliver news honestly; I humbly swear to do so.

Ultimately it is my goal to acquire great wealth, enabling me to establish foundations and non profit organization dedicated to offering services unheard of and pin-pointed to resolve issue in an effective fashion. Such as an orphanage based in the United States which promotes adoption of American children and teenagers. In the subsequent time they are in the care of the orphanage they will receive a collegiate private education, pristine rooms, fully certified organic food and allowances. This would help create awareness of third-world problems happening on our own streets. Secondly I want to create a non-profit treasury specifically for holding onto belongings of families and single people who have been evicted, in particular family photographs & heirlooms and similar items of sentimental value which would otherwise be thrown out or auctioned off. And unlike a storage unit, this organization would hold onto these things in the same manner as a Swiss bank account. Very well understanding how irreplaceable photos, childhood keepsakes, generational gifts and fine art & literature is, it is my desire to make this concept a reality.

As a side project I want to erect a curator galleria and book & film restoration company dead set on saving “lost” films. After reading an article on Theda Bara I skimmed through her filmography and was extremely disheartened by how many of her films did not survive to the twenty-first century. And while I feel history will always be bias, considering the victor of an invasion or war re-write records of exploits and reign often erasing entire cultures/civilizations from written word; still I feel literature of any kind whether ancient scrolls or ones written in foreign languages are beyond worthy of being saved. If I were able to accumulate an untold amount of self-sustaining wealth I would create a medical research and development team focused on finding cures for cancer, Ebola, infertility, Mersa, Mononucleosis, Herpes complexes 1 & 2, HIV, AIDS, flesh eating diseases and viable treatments for diabetes & hypoglycemia. My greatest triumph would be finding ways to reverse the effects of trauma and eliminate causes to chronic depression, anxiety and compile extensive research about the human brain. And in all possibility solve the mystery to human cell degeneration. True my dreams are monumental, but what does dreaming small serve me?

  3. I?m impressed, I have to say. Actually hardly ever do I encounter a weblog that?s each educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you’ve got hit the nail on the head. Your idea is excellent; the problem is something that not enough persons are speaking intelligently about. I am very completely happy that I stumbled throughout this in my search for one thing regarding this.
